Insurance and financing
We'll check your benefits, file the claim for you, and tell you what you're likely to owe before treatment starts.
Dental insurance
Most dental plans cover gum disease treatment and periodontal maintenance at least in part. Implants are covered by some plans and not others. A few things to know:
- Yearly maximum. Dental plans pay up to a fixed amount each year, often $1,000 to $2,000. Once you reach it, the plan stops paying until it resets, usually in January.
- Deductible. You may pay a set amount before coverage starts.
- Timing. For larger treatment, we can sometimes split it across two plan years to make the most of two maximums.
- Payment at the visit. Your estimated share is due at the time of service, and we bill your insurance for the rest.
